....bring it on....

We were literally inundated with answers for the first day of our competition.  the answer to the question, - Which famous London store recently commissioned Juliann Worrall Hood to decorate their windows to celebrate their fiftieth anniversary this year - was the Conran Shop  in London..... but everyone knew that.  We'll be letting the winner know later today.

The question today might be a little harder to answer - you'll have to search back through our website, blog and Facebook to find the answer.

May 2014 will be Patricia Roberts' third visit to us to lead a workshop.  More of a mentoring and sharing event than a full-on teaching programme,  participants nevertheless have a unique opportunity (Patricia only leads workshops with us) to sit side-by-side for five consecutive days with this amazing knit designer and tap into all her techniques, whilst learning copiously about her colour, form and style inspirations. She'll be here with all her patterns, books - she's written over 11 - and yarns to encourage, demonstrate and guide.

Famous since the late 1960s Patricia is still producing exquisite sweaters and accessories which sell to devotees and knitting aficionados from all over the world and the prize* for the first correct answer to the question below is one of her divine knitting kits containing a pattern and yarn   plus  10% discount on her workshop at Les Soeurs Anglaises 2013.  Remember, even if you don't hit the jackpot, we are offering £20 off any of the workshops, where we still have places available, just for entering the competition!.

Question

2.  How old was Patricia Roberts when her mother knitted her an inspirational red scarf?

*please note that the prizes are not necessarily illustrated above.
